 01  How do we meet for Health Coaching or Healing Touch Sessions?
​

We have many options to meet for Health Coaching, but my favorite is to meet in person! This could mean in my office, in any quiet and confidential space such as your home or a business room, in the outdoors such as a park or a trail (Yes, we can walk and talk). Other options include telephone and SKYPE. 

​

Healing Touch session can be done in person at my office, at your home, at a care facility, at a business, at a quiet outdoor location or remotely.

 02  Does insurance cover Health Coaching or Healing Touch?

​

Some insurance covers health coaching. I do not process insurance claims however, I can give you a receipt and you can submit it to your insurance company. Many HSA's will reimburse you for health coaching sessions. Insurance does not cover Healing Touch at this time.

 03  When do I pay for my service?

​

Fees are agreed upon and required up front. A receipt will be issued for you to submit to your insurance company or HSA.

 04  How can I pay for my sessions?

​

I accept payment by check, cash or credit card.

​

 05  How long are the sessions?

​

Most coaching sessions last one hour. There are some exceptions when a client reaches an appropriate time to end the session before the hour is up.  If this happens, I will always ask if there is more you would like to discuss and you decide how you would like to spend your time.

Healing Touch sessions last from 1-2 hours depending on discussions during intake and debrief. Average time on the table is 45 minutes to 1 hour.

 06  What if I need someone in addition to or other than a Health Coach or Healing Touch practitioner?

​

You may decide that you would like help from other practitioners as we move through our sessions. I will help you with a direction to search for what you need or offer referrals if you would like. When something is beyond my scope of practice, I will refer you to an appropriate professional. It is very acceptable to have a Health Coach or Healing Touch practitioner and a therapist or psychologist, just make sure all practitioners are aware you are working with the other.

 07  How do I know if Health Coaching is for me?

​

I offer a free 20 minute consultation for anyone interested in exploring health coaching with NO STRINGS ATTACHED. I want you to be comfortable with your decision to work with a health coach and I want to make sure I am the right person to coach you.

 08  If I sign up for Health Coaching or Healing Touch, how much does it cost?

​

Health Coaching: if after the free 20 minute consultation you are interested in making an appointment, the charge for an individual client is $95 for a single session or $85 a session for a package of 3 or more.

​

Healing Touch: $65 for a single session, $175 for 3 sessions. Extra changes may apply when traveling to a client.

​

If you are a business client, I charge on a contract basis unless otherwise agreed upon.

 09  How many sessions will I need?

​

This varies. Some people need just a few sessions and some continue to come back once every two weeks or once a month over time. It is up to the individual to decide what they find valuable for them. With Healing Touch in particular, it can depend on the condition we are treating.

 10  Do we have a formal contract as Health Coach and client?

​

Yes. Before we begin our health coaching sessions, we go over what you can expect from me and what I expect from you. A confidentiality agreement is included in this contract. You will also receive a client bill of rights so you are clear about your rights in our coaching relationship. I am open to any questions or concerns.
